1. What cookies are

2. Our approach

We keep cookies to a minimum. Only strictly necessary cookies are set when you arrive. Analytics and marketing technologies are switched off by default and load only after you have given consent through the cookie banner. Refusing them does not stop you from browsing, booking or paying.

3. Categories we use

Strictly necessary: required for the website to work, for example keeping you signed in, remembering your language and recording your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
Analytics: help us understand which pages and vehicles are viewed so we can improve the site. Loaded only with your consent.
Marketing: used to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and referrals. Loaded only with your consent.

Our website analytics are provided by a privacy focused, cookieless service that does not track you across websites and does not build advertising profiles. Payment and identity verification pages are provided by our processors and may set their own strictly necessary cookies while you are on them.

5. Managing your choices

You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories in the cookie banner when you first visit. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the alka_cookie_consent cookie in your browser, which makes the banner appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the website, including sign in and booking, from working.

6. Changes

If we add or remove a cookie we update this page and, where consent is required, we ask for it again. The version and effective date are shown at the top of this page.
